Dear hotel members,
Today, there are two things to remember from the political announcements of our Prime Ministers Trudeau and Legault.
First, the federal government is expanding access to its wage subsidy program. It will now be accessible to all businesses (regardless of size) that have demonstrated a loss of revenue of more than 30%. The assistance will cover up to 75% of the first $58,700 an employee earns, equivalent to a maximum of $847 per week.

As well, the provincial government has announced that businesses will be closed on Sunday to provide a break for employees. However, there are exceptions such as hotels, gas stations, convenience stores and pharmacies.
